For private equity
Coverage your current stack does not reach.
A data seat gives you a list. Bankers give you a process you are already late to. Your own outbound gives you what two people can call in a week. OmniSource runs all three channels against a documented mandate and puts the result on one board your associates and your partners work together.
- Off-Market origination on companies that have not started a process, with the first conversation already had.
- Pre-Market deals reached in the window between a signed engagement and a distributed teaser.
- On-Market flow across the brokerage network, verified live before it reaches your pipeline.
- Add-on programs run per platform, so each mandate keeps its own board and its own coverage.

What your team uses
Two screens, two jobs
An associate lives in the review queue and the board. A partner sees a deal once it is worth a partner's hour. Both are the same pipeline.
The board a deal team actually shares
Reaching Out through Under Contract, with In Limbo for deals parked under someone else's LOI and rechecked on a date. Stage movement is done by the people doing the work, so status is never a weekly reporting exercise. Every mandate gets its own board; nothing from one client's mandate is visible to another.
Parked — under LOI elsewhere, recheck scheduled
A deal that arrives with its file
Financial summary, implied multiple, the scorecard and the watch items the sector punishes. For every deal we pull what is available from public and private sources and add our own research and conversations, so a partner can decide quickly whether it is worth an offer. The company stays masked until an NDA is executed.

One decision a day, and the mandate gets sharper
Matched targets land in Targets to Review. Approve or reject; a rejection teaches the mandate as much as an approval does. After a month the queue looks materially different, because it has been trained by the people who know what they are actually buying.

Questions
What BD leads ask first
- How is this different from a data platform seat?
- A data platform hands you a filtered list of companies. OmniSource starts there and then does the part that takes people: assessing each one against your mandate, qualifying that it is real and available, and running the outreach and the first conversation. What reaches your pipeline is a company that has already replied.
- Do you only source off-market deals?
- No. OmniSource covers Off-Market, Pre-Market and On-Market in one pipeline. Describing it as off-market-only would be wrong: a large share of workable lower middle market deals are intermediated, and the coverage problem there is distribution — most listed deals never reach the buyers who would actually want them.
- Does our mandate stay confidential?
- Yes. A client's mandate is never disclosed — not to intermediaries, not to other clients, not in marketing. Outreach is conducted on our own behalf as an origination firm. Deals reach you as anonymized teasers until an NDA is executed, and each mandate has its own board.
- Who talks to the intermediary — you or us?
- We do, until you want the conversation. Our team makes the approach and keeps it moving, so you enter the process with a foothold rather than as a late name on a list. The moment a deal is live enough for your team, it is handed over with the thread and the insight intact.
- Can we run more than one mandate?
- Yes, and most platform-plus-add-on programs do. Each mandate is a separate record with its own review queue and its own board, so an add-on search for one portfolio company never contaminates the flow for another.
- Does BizNexus represent the seller?
- No. BizNexus does not represent sellers, negotiate, structure transactions or hold funds, and does not appear on engagement letters, NDAs, LOIs or closing documents. The intermediary who holds the engagement does that work. What we do is identify opportunities, assess them against your mandate, qualify them and run the outreach.
Posture
What we do, and what we do not
- Deals are anonymized teasers until an NDA is executed. Company and intermediary identities stay masked before that point.
- Your mandate is never disclosed. Nobody outside your team and ours sees what you are looking for, and no other client sees it at all.
- BizNexus does not represent sellers, negotiate, structure transactions, or hold funds, and does not appear on engagement letters, NDAs, LOIs or closing documents.
- What we do is identify opportunities, assess them against your mandate, qualify them and run the outreach — and hand you the deal with the insight already assembled.
Who this is not for
Three readers we send elsewhere
- Unfunded searchers. An origination team is the wrong spend before capital is committed.
- Owners looking to sell. You want an intermediary, not a buy-side pipeline. Start on biznexus.com.
- Advisors and intermediaries. You are the other side of this. The BizNexus Marketplace is where your deals meet mandate-matched buyers. See the Marketplace.
Mandate consultation
Bring one mandate.
Twenty minutes. Bring the buy criteria for a single platform or add-on program and we will walk it against live coverage across all three stages — including where coverage is thin.
Or read how the pipeline works first.
